The National Dinner Tour

The National Dinner Tour is one of the most famous performance art in the 21st century.
Marc Horowitz post up his private phone number so any random people can call him up to have dinner with him. Without any sort of technology or any sort of specific skills, he simply has dinner with people all over the country. What better way is there to interact with others other than to actually meet them and talk to them?! In a sense, his medium can be either his act of moving around and meeting people or the people who have dinner with him. And because neither the performer or the audience knows what will happen when they have dinner together, this would be a very cold experience. His way of interacting with others is very spontaneous and hypermediated. Perhaps its obscureness is what people are attracted by. Not knowing what to expect seem more fun, especially with Marc's project of 'The National Dinner Tour'.
